Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a real job that enables individuals to earn while they learn, gaining the valuable knowledge, skills and behaviours tailored to specific job roles as well as a qualification.

Whether you’re an employer looking to grow your team or an individual ready to take the next step in your career; Ebor Academy Trust recognises that apprenticeships offer exciting opportunities for both apprentice and employer and knows they are proven to offer real results.

For this reason we work with high quality apprenticeship training providers to offer apprenticeship development opportunities across all of our schools.

Namely;

Lift Schools

As the third-largest Multi-Academy Trust in England, Lift Schools has a wide national presence, with schools stretching from the North East and Yorkshire down to the South Coast.

Their expert apprenticeship team is able to provide training for our sector by those who know and work in the sector.

All of their apprenticeship programmes, which you can find more information about here are designed to create clear career pathways and are fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.

In short, they offer the following broad range of apprenticeships to support staff development:

Education: Teaching Assistant (L3), Specialist Teaching Assistant (L5), Early Years Practitioner (L2), Early Years Educator (L3), and Early Years Lead Practitioner (L5).

IT and Digital: Digital and AI Champion (L3) and IT Solutions Technician (L3).

School Business Support: Business Administrator (L3), School Business Professional (L4), and School Operations Manager (L5).

Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Safeguarding Support Officer (L3) and Wellbeing Champion (L3).

Coaching: Coaching Professional (L5).

Coventry University

As a leading international provider of initial teacher training and post graduate degrees in education and educational leadership, we look to The National Institute of Teaching and Education (NITE); part of the Coventry University Group to offer apprenticeship routes into teaching.

They offer the L6 Teacher Degree Apprenticeship with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for those working in our schools keen to progress to a teacher and the L6 Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship for those with an existing degree.

BPP

As a trusted CIPD provider BPP offers development opportunities for our Human Resources (HR) Professionals at every level as well as Accountancy and Tax  (AAT) qualifications for those working in finance.

If you are keen to explore the opportunities apprenticeships offer or would like to discuss how they might be utilised to meet your schools or your own development needs and aspirations we can help you to find what’s right for you; the right programme and the right provider.
